Research

My research is focused on measuring and reducing air pollution. I develop data science techniques for low-cost pollution sensors, and work with communities around the world on using these sensors to drive social change. Check out my papers on air pollution from fracking in Ohio, Saharan winds and anthropogenic emissions in Africa, smoke in South America, and more. If you want to collaborate, contact me

Policy

From local government to the White House, I've worked on driving policy towards a greener and more equitable future.

Teaching

I enjoy teaching and developing curricula that integrate science, technology, inquiry-based learning, and diversity/equity/inclusion principles. I've also taught workshops for educators and teaching assistants. If you could like to request teaching materials for climate-related computing courses, contact me.
